now that the weather is warmer and my mileage is going up, I’ve put a static page in the sidebar with my insight mileage graph:
this morning my lifetime mileage was at 54.5 and my trip (current tank of gas) was at 60.1. I know if I drove slower I would get way better mileage, but, well, I’m just not very good at that sort of thing!
at least you are covering for me!!! last i checked, only got 9mpg….hope i can get the bike running soon
oof! your bike will be so fantastic. it will be the best summer ever – I loved biking to school/work!
It’s nice to see you getting reasonable numbers. I am quite annoyed with Consumer Reports these days – I feel like they’re getting paid off by various industry groups. Why do I say this? Well, when they tested the hybrids, they were getting mpgs in the 20s – were they driving with the emergency brakes on? Also, they gave a terrible report on my Dyson, which I just don’t understand. I have lost all faith in them.
consumer reports is a bunch of stodgy old men. you know how I drive, too – pretty much like everyone else, only maybe a little faster. if anything the insight is making me drive more reasonably/slower than usual, which is a good thing, I guess. So I’d say my driving style probably produces a pretty reasonable hybrid mpg.
anyway, stodgy old men = not used to vacumning = don’t know why the dyson is so freakin’ great! I don’t trust them at all.
