I have a long commute and I think it would be dangerous to get stuck in wet weather after dark in mid 30deg temps. Someday soon I'll get heated gear/grips/etc and won't let that stop me, though! We had a fairly mild wet winter and I have either ridden a scooter or motorcycle. I do however find the greyness of winter oppressing. It's never ending grey from sky to ground. I have a great hat box that makes it super easy to carry lots of extra stuff with me!
