Today Mike and I headed out to Green Wood Cemetery to visit Peter Coopers grave on the occasion of his 221st birthday. It’s a big monument right in the center of the road, and he’s surrounded by members of his family.
It was a super cold day and windy, but it’s always nice to walk hand-in-hand with my sweetheart. I also love any excuse to see my Cooper Union buddies. They are super. And with all that’s been going on with the administrations evaluation of tuition as a revenue source, it was a treat to have some quiet reflection on the man who started this wonderful thing called Cooper Union.
